Finally, someone is looking out for women. If you’re delivering a speech in Lansing, drop the offensive language and stick to proper terms like “moose knuckle” or “bearded oyster.“

“A new survey by the Pew Research Center finds that belief in the existence of God has dropped 15 points in the last five years among Americans 30 and under.

Pew, which has been studying the trend for 25 years, finds that just 68 percent of millenials in 2012 agree with the statement “I never doubt the existence of God.” That’s down from 76 percent in 2009 and 83 percent in 2007.”

NPR makes the case for increased transparency in the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP):

“Large corporations are entrenched in the system without transparency, when SNAP was originally designed to help farmers. Also, without knowing what sorts of products are being purchased, the public can’t evaluate how Walmart and others may play in meeting or obstructing the program’s nutrition goals.”
